CHANGE THE REF | LAMB BAM BAM! CAMPAIGN

One in three shooting survivors lives with PTSD, a disorder that robs them of sleep and peace of mind. Nights bring insomnia, anxiety, and relentless nightmares. If survivors can’t sleep, why should politicians?

We’ve created a lullaby designed not to soothe, but to shatter the complacency of politicians in America. It's a wake-up call to end gun violence, so future generations can know the comfort of lullabies, not the terror of gunshots.

Change The Ref (CTR) was born from tragedy; the loss of 17 lives on February 14, 2018, at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, including Joaquin Oliver, son of founders Manuel and Patricia Oliver. CTR empowers young leaders to fight for a safer future through education, activism, and art that disrupts complacency.

The message is simple: We will not let these lives be forgotten, and we will not stop until the nightmares end.

This Back-to-School Season, Add Lamb Bam Bam to Your List: Wake Up Politicians to the Gun Violence Crisis

On July 19, CTR and Burson joined Mothers Fighting for Justice at their 11th Annual Walk for Justice and Back-to-School Drive, giving away backpacks that included the Lamb Bam Bam toy, amplifying voices, and turning grief into action. The backpacks have also made it’s way to congress, being shared to Senators and Policy Makers to open their eyes to the harsh reality of gun violence in the school setting.
